The TAF Innovation Grants (TIG) Program for faculty is ready to launch a new program year!

Over the last decade, Technology Access Fee (TAF) funds have been central to stimulating technology fluency through teaching and learning on the University of Memphis campus. The Advanced Learning Center (ALC, http://alc.memphis.edu ) in cooperation with the Information Technology Division offers three ways for campus faculty to participate under the TIG umbrella:

  1. Single Investigator /Small Team Group (SIST):
Small-scale research grants to individual faculty (or small teams)
  2. IEL Grants (Transforming the classroom through Innovation to Excellence in Learning):
Funding opportunities for large-scale departmental classroom technology initiatives
  3. Technology Fellowship Program (TFP):
A professional development program designed to recognize, encourage, and reward faculty members who wish to develop a deeper understanding of course design as it relates to the integration of new instructional strategies

Please join us as we launch this year's Grant Program and learn more about these faculty grant opportunities offered through the ALC.

When/Where:  September 14 th (Thursday), 3:00 - 4:30PM in the ALC Learning Lab, FIT room 228
