Participate in the Peer Recognition Awards program

We invite you to participate in this awards program by recognizing your colleagues for their outstanding service.

The Peer Recognition Awards program has been established in order to encourage departmental unity. This program provides an opportunity for employees to recognize each other for outstanding service . This is a very special award – an award given by a peer to a peer. All staff in the division is eligible for participation.

How it Works

Enter the website and click on the Peer Recognition Award link. After logging in, you will enter all information as requested and submit the form. Within a few moments, you will receive an e-mail response confirming your submission. Within a couple of days you will receive notification that a certificate has been printed for the award recipient, and providing the location where that certificate can be picked up. You should pick up the certificate and, at the appropriate time, present the certificate to the recipient and offer a word of thanks. The Academic Affairs Awards Committee encourages those presenting an award to also present the recipient a small token of appreciation (i.e. lunch, candy, fruit basket, special card, etc.).

Some recipients of the Peer Recognition Award will qualify for the Provost's Star Award.
