Internal Search for University Faculty Ombudsperson

The University is seeking applications and nominations for the position of Faculty Ombudsperson. As many of you know, the current occupant of this position, Dr. H. Graden Kirksey, is in the process of entering retirement. The Ombudsperson will serve in a half-time position with appropriate compensation and reduction in other responsibilities. A description of duties and qualifications for the position is attached.

Any tenured, full-time faculty member interested in applying for this position should send a formal letter of application to my attention at the Provost Office, 360 Administration Building. This letter should briefly explain why you are interested in this position and your qualifications for it. Your application should also include a copy of your curriculum vitae, including at least three references within the University (names, phone numbers and email addresses), and a completed Affirmative Action Form.
