Faculty and Staff Giving Program

As faculty and staff of the University of Memphis, we recognize our responsibility to helping young people achieve their goals and dreams. We show our support in the University of Memphis education with our efforts every day. By making an annual gift to the University of Memphis, faculty and staff members have another opportunity to invest in the students we have impacted through our careers. An annual contribution is not a membership – it is a commitment which demonstrates your belief in our University’s success!

The University is currently giving 18%; 445 out of 2,500 faculty/staff. Every gift is a “gift of giving” and no gift is too small. Whether you give $5.00 or $5,000, the amount is appreciated and you are giving to something you strongly support and believe in. Although the financial support is important to the program; the participation rate is even more important because it exhibits to students as well as other University communities how well we support our own programs. It also shows the President that our 100% participation rate means that we believe in our services and our programs just as much as the community does. Following are several reasons to make a gift:

Pride in your program and services
Self satisfaction in knowing your dollar made a difference in a student’s or client’s life.
Any gift, regardless of size, is appreciated and it does make a difference
You can make a cash gift or one of the easiest ways to make your annual gift is through the use of payroll deduction
A gift of $12 per pay period (beginning with a gift this month in April) grows to over $100 by year-end!
You can give to scholarships, a special fund, college or school of your choice
Your gift is tax-deductable
